Bio
Dr. Swati Kumari is a Senior Lecturer in Cybersecurity at Deakin University, GIFT City, India from June 2024. Before joining Deakin, she was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Trinity College Dublin, Ireland, in the School of Computer Science and Statistics. Her research expertise spans IoT Security, Post-Quantum Cryptography, Federated Learning, and Blockchain Technology.

With over 14 years of experience across industry, research, and academia—including her tenure at the Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology—Dr. Swati brings extensive multidisciplinary knowledge to her academic role. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from Thapar Institute of Engineering & Technology, Patiala, India.

Dr. Swati’s scholarly contributions include multiple publications in reputed SCI-indexed journals and international conferences. Her current research focuses on NIST-standardized post-quantum algorithms, with recent projects exploring IoT security using lattice-based cryptography, blockchain consensus mechanisms employing FALCON, and enhancing TLS security with CRYSTALS-Kyber.
